Angele Papantoniou
IPEN Greece
A “Flourishing Activator,” Positive Psychology Practitioner, and visionary founder of the Human Flourishing Movement (HFM) in Athens, Greece—which serves as IPEN’s Innovation Hub in Southern Europe—Angele transforms Positive Education from theory into embodied practice. Her work is deeply rooted in evidence-based PERMA-H+ science and the 24 character strengths framework.
Driven by a commitment to creating environments where students, parents, educators, leaders, and workers alike thrive, Angele leads immersive, play-based living labs that turn positive psychology theory into embodied experience and actionable life skills through micro-practices and interventions. Her approach is transdisciplinary, weaving together Greek philosophy, art, technology, nature, and storytelling to make flourishing accessible across schools, workplaces, and communities.
Angele holds a Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) from the University of East London, a BA in Psychology with Sociology from the University of Leicester, and is a specialist in Character Education from the University of San Diego. Embracing a holistic well-being approach, she is also a certified yoga teacher and holds a Diploma from Harvard Extension School in Mindfulness, Meaning & Resilience, Coaching Psychology, and Food & Nutrition. Beyond her professional achievements, her extensive global volunteer work reflects her dedication to community well-being and sustainability.
